I joined Probus when dear Ken was both a great Chairman while at the same time organising events and trips etc. When I eventually became Chairman, he helped me with advice right from when I first took office and until recently. Lately, he still attended our lunches whenever he could, often with Jan’s help. We laughed a lot whenever we met, even when he was in hospital. I shall never forget how positive and upbeat he remained, right up until the last time I spoke to him. We shall all miss him, but remember him with great respect and affection.
